Juliet Anderson (MS, ACSM-CES, CIFT, CSCS, FMS) – Neuro Fitness Specialist at Race to Walk, Sports Performance Coach at Velocity Sports Performance, Owner of F.I.T. Functionally Intelligent Training, LLC

Juliet attended UNC-Wilmington to play volleyball, receiving the Dean’s list and Chancellor’s Achievement Award while earning her degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Community Health. She was a personal trainer and cycling instructor during her time at UNCW and was nominated for UNCW’s outstanding graduate award in 2005.

She was offered a graduate assistantship and decided to further her education at East Carolina University obtaining her Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology while playing and coaching the East Carolina Women’s Club Volleyball team. Juliet moved to Charlotte in 2008 to pursue performance training for athletes at Velocity Sports Performance.  After 3 years at Velocity, she wanted to expand her knowledge into the neurological field and began at Race to Walk, a non-profit exercise-based training facility for individuals with neurological dysfunction located in Mooresville, NC as a Neuro-Fitness Trainer.  She currently works full-time at Race to Walk and has her LLC, F.I.T. Functionally Intelligent Training, where she continues to work with athletes and fitness enthusiast on their performance goals or returning to exercise after injury. She is a “Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist” (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She is also a certified “Clinical Exercise Specialist” (CES) and “Certified Inclusive Fitness Trainer” (CIFT) through the American College of Sports Medicine.

Juliet has worked with a broad range of clientele, from youth to seniors, rehabilitation to elite athletes. Juliet still enjoys playing sand volleyball, practicing yoga, working out, spending time with family and friends and staying active in the community. She believes that with dedication, hard work and a little faith anything is possible to achieve!
